The Liquid Frog IV Hydration is a comprehensive therapy solution for consumers seeking hydration, aesthetic treatments, and basic acute care. Our team works collaboratively with clients/corporations to provide the information and support needed to make informed decisions regarding treatment options, services, and solutions.
The Liquid Frog is a 1600+sq ft facility providing a comprehensive service line of intravenous hydration products and treating a variety of ailments, including fatigue, muscle recovery, healing, focus deficits, vitamin and electrolyte deficiencies, migraines, nausea/vomiting, body aches, and pains and jetlag. Our clients will leave refreshed, recovered, energized, and rejuvenated!
To provide an exceptional experience to our clients seeking hydration, wellness, and aesthetics in a relaxed environment while receiving their own individualized therapy to leave them feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and recovered.

Shawna Smith
Shawna Smith RN, BSN
Owner
Shawna is a Registered Nurse. She currently lives in Fort Worth, where she attended TCU and earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University. After college, Shawna worked in Intensive and Coronary Care Units, quickly turning her focus towards Emergency Medicine where she has worked both clinically as a practitioner and operationally as a Vice President for the last 25 years. Shawna has always been passionate about IV hydration, as she has seen firsthand and experienced the benefits over many years.
Traci Shortt
Traci Shortt DNP, MSN, MBA, APRN, ACNP-BC, PNP-AC
Owner
Traci received a BSN from Texas Tech University, an MSN from the University of South Alabama, and a Doctorate from Chatham University. She has 26 years of nursing experience spanning from emergency care to critical care and air medical services. She currently practices as a nurse practitioner in emergency medicine. Traci focuses on researching the most evidence-based hydration therapies for your specific ailments. She’s passionate about patient care and helping her clients feel better.
Phil Chapa
Medical Director Phillip Chapa, MD

Dr. Chapa received his medical degree from UT Southwestern and completed an Emergency Medicine Residency at LSU. Dr. Chapa has 25+ years in emergency medicine and most recently has served at medical director of several hydration and aesthetic clinics. Dr. Chapa has a patient-focused approach to care. He assures all treatment plans are appropriate for patients.
